We can all use an extra boost every now and then. Julie Freed has just what we need to kick-start our healthy routine. She’s blended a mega smoothie packed with good stuff to get your body moving, but also to recover after a serious workout!

Kick-Start Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. spirulina
  • 2 scoops Green Superfoods ͞berry flavor͟
  • ½ tsp. turmeric
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice (or ½ lemon)
  • 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • ½ frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple
  • 2 pitted dried dates
  • ½ inch nub fresh ginger, skin removed
  • 2 packages Emergen-C
  • 1 scoop of protein plant powder
  • Large handful of ice (approximately 12 cubes)
  • 1 cup of water

Optional Add-On- L-Glutamine- helps with gut health, tightens and recovers muscles

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into blender.
  2. Blend and pour into glasses.
