Getting into Harvard University is no easy feat. It’s literally one of, if not, the most respected universities IN THE WORD. So, it’s no wonder that The Residences at the Harvard Club, located on 380 Commonwealth Ave, are equally as exclusive. The gorgeous building comprises five luxury units, one of which just hit the market! And while we don’t think anyone will check your SAT scores to make an offer, if you are interested in the unit, you definitely need to come in high on the bidding.

How high? How about $6.3 million high?

We were dying to take a peek at the luxury property, and we thought you probably would too! So, we turned to Haute Life friend, Boston Real Estate Extraordinaire and one of the listing agents, Allison Mazer for a private tour.

The exclusivity starts when a private elevator lifts you into the nine-room unit, which sprawls across the entire fourth floor. As you step out of your own personal elevator, you can either head to the kitchen for a snack or turn to the other door to go relax in the sprawling living space.

We decided to head to the kitchen first, well, because we love food. And oh boy, we sure would love to cook in this chef’s kitchen! Miele appliances and a modern and bright space started to get our creative cooking wheels turning! The generous marble island with waterfall edges should seal the deal for anyone who is looking for a place to cook.

But, then if you love to entertain, the open floor plan that flows between the kitchen and dining/family room might be the feature you love. Especially, given the fireplaces where you and your guests can cozy up and enjoy conversation and a post-dinner cocktail.

Three bedrooms make up part of the 3,704 Sq. Ft. luxury condo, all which are generous in size. However, a private wing is dedicated to the master suite. Why a private wing? Well, of course, one needs a private dressing room and opulent marble bath. Seriously, look at this bath. It’s like your own private spa!

But, don’t worry kids, the other bedrooms also have their own en-suite marble baths.

We think one of the best parts of the building, is that when you step out of the 19th-century work of art, designed by renowned architect Peabody & Stearns, you’re stepping onto the highly desired and gorgeous Commonwealth Ave. No matter what season, the tree-lined street is always stunning and provides a deep and much-appreciated breath of fresh air.

But, if you’re in a rush to get out of the city, no worries. Two deeded parking spots allow you to hop in your ride and take off for the countryside, or Target. We’re pretty sure even the uber-wealthy have the occasional need for Target. 😉 And if they don’t, the building’s concierge service is ready to help with all of the life’s necessities.

Back to getting into Harvard. While, one might still need those SAT scores for the University, at the very least, purchasing the unit at the residences comes with an invitation to join the actual Harvard Club with a FOB for direct access to the club. Pretty exclusive indeed…

Thank you to Gibson Sotheby’s agent, Allison Mazerfor giving us a gander at this gorgeous luxury property, and to Briggs Johnson Photography for capturing the details in all of their eye-catching glory!
