This week our eyes are on creams- the best eye creams of course! As we age, it seems to get harder and harder to find a good one.

Are you always on a seemingly endless search for the best eye cream? Does your medicine cabinet look like a wasteland for failed orbital moisturizers? Creams full of empty promises- minimizing fines lines, erasing dark circles, de-puffing bags. Yet, the hunt continues…

Or maybe not. This week we’re focusing on a couple for you to try that at least won’t be a total waste of money.

Tata Harper – Illuminating Eye Creme

A friend turned Jess onto Tata Harper’s Illuminating Eye Creme. At $95.00, it’s on the pricier side. But hey, it has real diamond dust!

All jokes aside, Jess digs it. It’s not the best eye cream for night time, but it does a great job during the day. That diamond dust creates an illuminating effect, reflecting light and instantly helping to hide bags and dark circles.

It’s also 100% natural. Here’s a great tip Jess wants to share. Mix a little of this pearly cream into your favorite concealer and then continue with your usual make-up application for can’t-be-beat coverage!

Feel free to also dab along cheekbones for a nice highlight.

NEOCUTIS MICRO EYES – RICHE

One of the perks for doing marketing work for a medical spa is getting to know the benefits of their medical grade skin care.  Kim recently fell in love with Neocutis Eye Cream called Micro Eyes Riche. Like Jessica’s product this too is pricey at $115 but worth every bowl of Ramen noodles you’ll have to eat for a month. lol! Joking aside…. This cream is ultra hydrating and daily use of this cream helps refresh the delicate eye area. The ingredient Bisabolol, a component of chamomile extract makes the eyes appear younger and smooth.

Their anti-aging technology minimizes the signs of aging such as crow’s feet, hollowness, dry skin and thin crepe like skin. Kim has been using this eye cream for well over a month and is hooked!

Like we say at Avalon Medical Spa… Aging is now Optional!
