Quick and simple beef broth recipe… I like to keep this on hand along with my Easy Chicken Broth for all kinds of culinary awesomeness!

Easy Beef Broth

  • 2-3 lbs beef bone (more marrow is good)
  • 1 lb beef (stew meat, or any other cut really)
  • 1 onion, peeled and cut into quarters
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic, peeled
  • 2-3 bay leaves
  • salt & pepper to taste
  1. Throw all ingredients into a dutch oven or large soup pot and fill with water just enough to cover all ingredients and bring to a boil
  2. Lower heat to bring it to a slow simmer - just barely boiling - and cover partially
  3. Let cook for 3-4 hours, add more water if too much boils out
  4. Strain, and refrigerate
